Egyptian prince, Jewish patriarch - Charlton Heston as Moses.

Princess Nefretiri (Anne Baxter) is betrothed to Prince Rameses, but is in love with Rameses adopted brother, Moses.

Moses, not yet aware of his own heritage, gives a pass to the zealous rage of Jewish slave Joshua (John Derek).

The prince becomes a refugee and falls in love with Sephora, the peaceful and devoted daughter of a desert chieftain (Yvonne de Carlo).

Once brothers, now enemies: Yul Brynner as the mighty and vengeful Pharaoh Rameses receives a message from God via His new prophet Moses - "Let My people go!"

Smoke and fire from God's Mountain - Sephora, Moses, and Joshua in the wilderness awaiting God's will for them and their people.

"Behold His mighty hand!" Moses parts the Red Sea.
