All-American Action Man

CHARLTON HESTON

ALL CHUCK, NO JIVE!
Chuck Means Master of Disaster!

"The Naked Jungle" (1954)

For filmgoers who don't care for Chuck's "dramatic action" type of roles, there's always the good old tried-and-true "man against nature" plot for the guys - and in this case, it comes in the form of a giant army ant invasion!

The Leiningens (Chuck, with Eleanor Parker) are given a warning by the local Commissioner (William Conrad) about their cocoa plantation being in danger.

"Skyjacked" (1972)

One of the hallmarks of a good Chuck Heston disaster flick...a dalliance with a pretty actress. This film has Yvette Mimieux.

Captain O'Hara has to deal with the terror of a skyjacker aboard his plane.

"Airport '75" (1974)

Another plane, another disaster...this time, Chuck has to save an all-star cast on a commercial airliner that's been struck by a private plane in mid-air!

"Earthquake!" (1974)

No sooner has Chuck saved a plane than he has to work out more wife-and-mistress problems as well as assist victims of a killer Southern California earthquake...which the audience could experience too through a process known as "Sensurround"!

"Two-Minute Warning" (1976)

The tagline on the poster says it all...a crazy-mad sniper in the middle of a sports stadium. Will supercop Chuck and his SWAT team catch him in time?

"Gray Lady Down" (1978)

It's Chuck to the rescue of a stranded, crippled nuclear submarine! Featuring Stacy Keach and David Carradine, so you know the tension can be cut with a knife!
