FashionState.Com's Cellarful of Sellers
Sellers in Cinema:
The Seventies and Beyond

A selection of photos from some of his best-known
(and some not-so-well known) screen performances.

"Hoffman" (1970)

Peter's Mid-Life Crisis Series continues...this time, his designs
are on the lovely Sinead Cusack, his engaged secretary whom he
blackmails into spending a weekend with him.

"The Blockhouse" (1973)

A new kind of role...Peter as Rouquet,
a Frenchman who is hiding in a bunker with
his fellow countrymen in occupied France.

"The Pink Panther Strikes Again" (1976)

A new decade signals the return of the Surete's most
accident-prone detective, Inspector Clouseau.

"Revenge of the Pink Panther" (1978)

Only Inspector Clouseau would show his credentials to a parrot!

Seems the birds are for Clouseau as much as he is for the birds!

"A beumb!"

"Being There" (1979)

One of Peter Sellers' greatest roles -
that of Chance, a slow-witted innocent who stumbles
from the home he never left to the upper levels
of influence in government in one short day...
completely by accident.

Chauncey see, Chauncey do...the newly-christened
"Chauncey Gardner" is more absorbed by yoga on television
than any questions put to him by curious reporters.
