With a combination of her bewitching blonde loveliness, trim yet shapely body, and her ability to dazzle with her unabashed smile and good humor, the cameras couldn't help falling in love with Sharon Tate.

Whether as a sinister sorceress, a surfer girl, a kooky secret agent, an innocent innkeeper's daughter, an ill-starred showgirl, a model, or simply out on the town, photographers couldn't seem to take enough pictures of her.

By all accounts a sweet and generous lady with the soul of a homebody, Sharon's husband, Roman Polanski, a man known for his tempestuous past and temperamental nature, said about her, "Sharon had grace and charm; she knew how to make anybody's life easier."

Sadly, Sharon's life was cut short before she could realize her dream of becoming a mother. But decades after her death, she maintains a legion of loyal fans all over the world who keep alive Sharon's memory through fansites loaded with pictures and information about her, and message boards dedicated to preserving the legacy of the style, fashion and impact of this swingin' sixties superbeauty.
